Responsibilities

• Transcribes physician orders to appropriate cards and systems.
• Inputs written physician orders into computer for following months.
• Prepares monthly MDS and resident care conference notifications.
• Notifies families of Resident Care Conferences and events.
• Assists with calendars, letters, and discharge instructions.
• Orders medical tests and coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Answers nurse’s station telephone calls and relays messages.
• Maintains charts and nursing station in an organized manner.
