Job summary

Alluregalesburg is seeking a dedicated housekeeper and laundry aide to maintain clean resident areas and ensure an adequate supply of linen. You will follow directions from the Director of Housekeeping and work to keep rooms, hallways and laundry areas sanitized and organized.

Responsibilities include cleaning, linen handling, complying with infection prevention procedures, and assisting in emergencies. Prior experience in long-term care preferred; strong English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms and other areas to meet safety and policy standards.
• Perform cleaning procedures following infection prevention protocols.
• Handle laundry tasks: sorting, washing, drying, folding and distribution of clean linens.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain sanitation in laundry and housekeeping closets.
• Assist in emergencies and respond to safety concerns as directed by supervisors.
