Job summary

Masonic Homes of California in Covina, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist professional staff in delivering resident care including baths, grooming and feeding. You will help with transfers, feeding, and activities of daily living while maintaining HIPAA and safety standards.

Responsibilities include documenting care, responding to resident needs, and supporting the nursing team to ensure quality care and resident comfort at all times.

Qualifications

• Completion of 10th grade (High School).
• Active and current C.N.A. Certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 6 months of experience as a C.N.A. in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting as directed by the nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and positioning to ensure resident comfort and safety.
• Record outputs and care activities accurately and promptly in the resident chart.
• Respond to call lights and resident inquiries in a timely manner; maintain privacy and dignity.
