Job summary

West Covina Healthcare Center in West Covina, CA, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with the assessments and regulatory standards, as directed by supervisors.

You will respond to call lights, assist with feeding, grooming, transfers, and mobility, maintain privacy, and protect resident data per HIPAA. Training provided; full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion CNA training from accredited school.
• Valid CNA certificate number.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to use computer or tablet to enter resident data.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights and provide routine daily nursing care.
• Maintain privacy and comfort residents.
• Assist feeding, grooming, bathing; assist with transfers.
• Report changes to Nurse Supervisor and protect HIPAA confidentiality.
• Follow infection control policies and facility procedures.
• Transport residents to dining and activities; perform other duties as assigned.
