Qualifications

• Read prints and shop orders to determine product specifications.
• Follow safety policies and procedures in fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser cutting machine, press brake, MIG and TIG welders.
• Read laser g-code and compare with part drawings to prevent errors.
• Observe machine control panel and verify with job documentation.
• Provide feedback to Manufacturing Engineering to improve set-up sheets and processes.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues to maintain Belvac quality standards.
• Follow verbal and written instructions for sheet metal layout, cutting, bending and drilling.
• Perform repairs of sheet metal components to meet Belvac aesthetics.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify parts.
• Keep work areas clean and perform preventative maintenance.
