Job summary

Keystone Bluffs in Duluth, MN is seeking a Part-Time TMA to administer medications, monitor residents, and document care per policy. The role requires CNA certification and ongoing registry listing, with the ability to lift 50 lbs. Experience with medication administration and care planning is preferred.

Training and compliance with Minnesota nursing home standards are mandatory. The position offers a part-time schedule with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Completion of a standardized medication administration training program for unlicensed personnel in nursing homes through a Minnesota postsecondary educational institution.
• Current certification and listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older; exception for those under 18 with a valid CNA license per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to the facility’s medication policy.
• Record and restock medication inventories, and process discontinued medication as directed by DON.
• Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure.
• Observe resident behavior and report changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Complete necessary forms, charts, reports, etc. in a descriptive manner, and submit them as necessary
• Report errors in the administration of medications
• Review and follow a written care plan.
• Assist with caring for residents when needed
• Perform other duties as requested
