Position Overview

To assist in the maintenance of a safe, clean, and comfortable physical environment.

Salary: $36,400

Major Duties And Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, strip, wax and buff common area floors as directed.
  • Clean windows, vents, fans, all fixtures, fire equipment and furnishings on regular basis and inform Superintendent of needed repairs.
  • Clean residential units when vacated and inform Superintendent of needed repairs.
  • Assist in deliveries, unpacking, and stocking shelves.
  • Maintain cleanliness of yard, alleys, picnic and play areas.
  • Inspect, clean and re-stock public bathrooms daily.
  • Clean play rooms and day care rooms daily.
  • Bag and remove garbage in accordance with NYC Sanitation requirements.
  • Sweep, mop, remove garbage, and tidy offices daily.
  • Attend workshops, trainings as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • High School Diploma or GED
