Soifer Family McDonald's in Northeast Iowa is seeking an experienced Skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team. We offer top of the line pay from $75,000 to $90,000 based on experience, plus a bonus for the right candidate, a work van to take home, and a comprehensive benefits package.

This is a full-time role with a 10-hour shift, reporting to the Facilities Supervisor. The position will work at multiple NE Iowa locations near the Waterloo/Cedar Falls metro area and

Qualifications

• Refrigeration experience with kitchen equipment and repair.
• HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Universal EPA certification.
• Minor plumbing/electrical repair abilities.
• Ability to independently diagnose and complete repairs.
• Ability to communicate daily with Facilities Supervisor.
• Ability to use cellphone and laptop.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and climb a ladder.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on restaurant equipment.
• Diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Work independently and coordinate with the Facilities Supervisor.
• Operate company-provided vehicle, cellphone, and laptop as needed.

Skilled Maintenance Technician -- McDonald's

Soifer Family McDonald's has been in business in Northeast Iowa since 1978 and is hiring an additional Skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician for our Facilities Team. We are offering top of the line pay ranging from $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience, plus bonus for the right candidate. We also offer a work van you take home, no weekend or on call hours, an excellent benefits package, and more.

This is a full-time position with an attractive benefits package (including family insurance coverage), company match 401K, and vacation. We provide a work vehicle, cellphone, laptop, all necessary tools, work clothing allowance, free meals while you work and any necessary training. This position will report directly to our existing Facilities Supervisor.

The ideal candidate should live within a 1-hour drive from the Waterloo metro area or be willing to relocate. This position requires both preventive and repair maintenance and the ideal candidate will be able to work independently and efficiently to complete assigned PM as well as diagnose issues and complete repairs.

We are looking for an experienced candidate, but if certification on specific brands of restaurant equipment is needed, Soifer Family McDonald's will pay for all training and any required travel.
