Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Wage: $66,560.00 - $72,800.00 / Salary

Shift: 3rd Shift

Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday - Friday, OT on Saturdays

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for preventative maintenance on equipment, such as servicing conveyors, presses, stackers, etc.
2. Read and understand mechanical prints, electrical wiring diagrams/schematics, AC/DC motors, pneumatic diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams.
3. Troubleshoot, repair, and install mechanical components, electrical controls, AC/DC motors, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, bearings, and power transmission.
4. Perform fabrication of equipment (arc and gas welding) to meet needs.
5. Make adjustments on equipment to improve productivity.
6. Identify and locate unusual sounds indicating potential trouble.
7. Dismantle equipment to access defective parts.
8. Examine parts for wear and repair or replace as needed.
9. Operate metal, woodworking, and hand tools for making and repairing parts.
10. Ensure all work is done safely.

Requirements for Maintenance Technician:

1. Minimum three to five years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
2. Technical skills across all disciplines of industrial maintenance.
3. Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment.
4. Good knowledge of various meters (volt/amp meters, schematics, dial calipers, heat sensing guns, etc.).
5. Outstanding analytical and decision-making skills.
6. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Good written and verbal communication skills.
8. Good interpersonal skills.
9. Strong organizational skills.
10. Willingness to work off-shifts.
