Job summary

Morris Packaging is seeking operators for its complex printing/ converting machinery in Missouri. The role offers 2nd or 3rd shift with potential overtime, 8-hour days, and a climate-controlled facility.

Pay ranges from $23 to $25 per hour plus a $2 shift differential. Related experience in operating production equipment is preferred; strong mechanical skills are essential for independent setup and operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior manufacturing experience operating production machinery preferred.
• Experience with machine changeovers and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machines to specifications.
• Perform changeovers, tooling changes, and setup according to product specs.
• Regulate machine flow, speed, and temperature for quality production.
• Inspect products and remove non-conforming items.
• Monitor line for jams or malfunctions and troubleshoot or escalate as needed.
• Keep equipment clean, oiled, and perform minor repairs.
• Label and pack finished goods per shipping specs.
