Job summary

BrightStar Care of Amarillo is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide skilled nursing care across the Amarillo and Texas Panhandle area.

Responsibilities include wound care, medication administration, patient monitoring, and collaboration with the care team. Requires active Texas LVN license, 1+ year LVN experience, CPR/BLS certification, and reliable internet access for charting.

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN license.
• At least 1 year of LVN experience.
• Wound care experience is a plus.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting.
• Ability to work independently and manage patient care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care according to each patient’s plan of care
• Perform wound care and medication administration
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes
• Communicate with the care team regarding patient needs and progress
• Complete required clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with patients, families, and other members of the care team
