Job summary

Responsibilities

• Administers and documents all medications according to established policies and physician's orders.
• Provides optimum nursing care under the supervision of the Head/Charge Nurse.
• Continuously evaluates residents and discusses findings with Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Performs treatments as ordered by physicians and per policies.
• Discusses need to discontinue or change medications with the Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Orders prescribed medications and coordinates with pharmacy to ensure accuracy of dosages.
