Skilled Laborer - Landscaping & Grounds (Seasonal)

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and maintaining landscaping working areas and other job sites as needed.
• Grounds upkeep such as grass cutting, weed eating, bush hogging, planting shrubs and trees, and pulling weeds.
• Providing guest service to ensure a positive experience.
• Ensuring safety and security of team members and guests, including injury prevention programs.
• Operating small stationary equipment like air compressors, generators, and concrete mixers.
• Operating heavy equipment such as water trucks, tractors, skid loaders, etc.
• Maintaining and repairing equipment including tractors, mowers, and power saws.
• Operating automotive equipment like trucks and vans.
• Assisting mechanics with machinery and building trades.
• Building and repairing structures using bricks, concrete, and stone.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Standards of Performance:

• Maintaining professional relationships among personnel.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Assuming responsibility for departmental performance.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience in horticulture and landscaping.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
• Valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands:
