Responsibilities

As a Skilled Laborer/Groundman, you will support all phases of utility construction for various telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right and being the best. You are up for the challenge.

In addition, you will:

• Perform manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading materials, and preparing job sites using hand tools like shovels, rakes, and picks.
• Work at outdoor utility construction sites.
• Transport heavy equipment to and from the job site daily.
• Assist in building and maintaining aerial and underground cable systems.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field.
• Learn and train to use various tools and equipment.

Qualifications

About You:

• Prioritize safety in your daily routine.
• Have a track record of completing high-quality work.
• Enjoy solving difficult problems and taking a hands-on approach.
• Seek long-term projects.
• Enjoy working with your team and getting your hands dirty.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Experience as a CDL Driver/Operator is preferred.
• Interested in learning telecom construction trades like Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, etc.
• Want to make an impact in your community and be home daily.
