Job description

Come work for America's Master Craftsmen in Restoration and Preservation! Western Specialty Contractors is currently looking for self-motivated, top-notch individuals to serve our customers as a Skilled Laborer at our Dallas, TX branch. If you have a strong work ethic and excellent personality skills to ensure customer satisfaction, we would love to meet you! The pay range for this position is $18-$27, depending on skills and experience.

As a member of the branch production team, you will be responsible for performing work within your designated area according to accepted craft standards. Experienced skilled laborers are encouraged to apply!

Key Roles:

• Masons and Tuckpointers: Brick replacement, lintel replacement, mortar removal and replacement, stone repair
• Waterproofers: Below grade and building envelope waterproofing, pedestrian and vehicular coatings
• Caulkers: Sealant removal and replacement around windows, glass glazing, window perimeters, control joints, expansion joints
• Concrete Journeymen: Concrete repair, patches, epoxy and urethane injection, carbon fiber reinforcement, grout pocket patching, post-tension repairs, sealing

Requirements:

• Experience in a trade or craft preferred
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math to understand safety policies and instructions
• Physical ability to stand or walk long periods, lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders/scaffolds, and see clearly
• Willingness to work at heights, in extreme temperatures, and wear safety equipment
• Ability to follow detailed blueprints and instructions
• Teamwork skills
• Own hand tools of the trade
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, out of town, and at heights
• Reliable transportation
