Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and general construction equipment.
• Knowledge of installing prefabricated railings, fence panels, and stair components with bolted and mechanical connections to structural steel, concrete, and other building materials.
• Ability to take field measurements accurately, check for level and plumb, and use mathematics for layout and fit.
• Ability to perform minor field welding or touch-up welds; on-site welding is minimal due to prefabrication.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, proper uses, basic repair, and maintenance (drills, impact drivers, torque wrenches, anchor-setting tools).
• Knowledge of installation methods, quality control, and techniques to ensure correct, secure, level, and plumb installations.
• Working knowledge of OSHA jobsite safety standards and proper PPE usage.
• Ability to work at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform extended standing, bending, kneeling, or climbing.
• Any certification in construction (OSHA 10/30, forklift, aerial lift) is preferred but not required.
• Punctual and dependable attendance.

• Knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools involved in installing prefabricated railings and associated components, fence panels and associated components, and stair components and associated components, primarily using bolted and mechanical connections to structural steel, concrete, and other building materials.
• Ability to accurately take field measurements, check for level and plumb, and use mathematics to calculate layout and fit.
• Ability to perform minor field welding or touch-up welds as needed; components arrive prefabricated, so on-site welding is minimal.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, proper uses, basic repair, and maintenance (drills, impact drivers, torque wrenches, anchor-setting tools, and similar).
• Knowledge of installation methods, quality control, and other techniques for ensuring components are installed correctly, securely, level, and plumb.
• Working knowledge of OSHA jobsite safety standards, including proper use of PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and fall protection as required).
• Ability to work at heights and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to physically perform the requirements of the job, including heavy lifting up to 100 lbs, and standing, bending, kneeling, or climbing for extended periods.
• Any certification in the construction industry (such as OSHA 10/30, forklift, or aerial lift) is preferred, but not required.
