Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a skilled laborer to support apartment renovation and ongoing maintenance throughout Los Angeles County. The role covers framing repairs, drywall, flooring, demolition, and general property upkeep; candidates should have multi-craft experience and be able to work in occupied units with basic hand and power tools.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Recent and relevant experience in carpentry, maintenance or related trade; multi-craft experience preferred.
• Must provide basic hand and/or power tools to perform assigned work.
• Proficient English communication; ability to write reports and emails.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction maintenance in residential and commercial spaces

Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. (SEMP) is a leading provider of skilled trade services throughout California. Our Commercial Maintenance Division is currently seeking a Skilled Laborer to support apartment renovation and maintenance projects throughout Los Angeles County. In this role, the Skilled Laborer will perform a variety of construction and maintenance tasks, including framing repairs, drywall patching and installation, flooring repairs, demolition, and general property maintenance. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience working in occupied and vacant apartment units, be comfortable using hand and power tools, and be able to complete assignments efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship and safety standards.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Overtime may be available but is not guaranteed

Requirements

• Recent and relevant experience in carpentry, maintenance, or a related trade; multi-craft experience with at least four years of experience preferred
• Must provide basic hand and/or power tools necessary to perform assigned work
• Proficient English communication skills required to write reports and emails
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. throughout the work shift
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Must have the physical ability to grip, grasp, twist, climb, and descend stairs with or without construction materials
