Job summary

Moorhead is seeking skilled laborers to join our land clearing and site preparation team. This role supports equipment operators, assists with daily site tasks, and helps prepare materials while maintaining strict safety practices.

Candidates should be willing to work outdoors in all weather, travel to various job sites (per diem where applicable), and follow directions with a strong work ethic. Training is provided for those new to the industry.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willing to travel to job sites; per diem provided where applicable.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain safety on site.
• Prior construction or land clearing experience is preferred but not required (we will train).

Overview

Moorhead is a land clearing and site preparation contractor specializing in large-scale projects including solar farms, commercial developments, and right-of-way clearing. Our team is dedicated to safety, quality, and efficiency, and we are seeking skilled laborers to join our growing company.

Responsibilities

• Assist equipment operators and crews with daily site operations
• Perform manual labor tasks such as clearing debris, setting up job sites and preparing materials
• Maintain safe work zones by spotting for equipment and directing traffic when needed
• Use hand tools, chainsaws and small equipment as directed
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations and environmental guidelines
• Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues promptly to supervisors
• Support land clearing and construction crews with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Prior construction or land clearing experience preferred but not required (will train)
• Ability to safely use hand tools and small equipment
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions
• Ability to travel to job sites (per diem provided where applicable)
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Reliable transportation to and from job site
• Willing to work 40-hour weeks

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry and move up to 75 lbs. regularly
• Comfortable working on foot for long hours in rugged terrain
• Ability to bend, stoop and perform physically demanding tasks
