Job summary

McLaren is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to deliver full-time nursing services to patients in their homes under supervision. The role emphasizes initial patient assessment, development of individualized care plans, and patient teaching in alignment with physician orders and agency standards.

The RN will provide skilled nursing care and health counseling, ensuring rehabilitation potential is maximized and symptoms are managed. A Michigan RN license and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• Minimum of one to two years of med/surg or critical care experience; or demonstrated experience in a specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and provides medically prescribed skilled nursing care and health counseling.
• Makes the initial visit to assess the patient’s status, needs, and resources.
• Prepares the nursing plan of care based on physician’s plan and provides patient teaching.
