Thompson-Arthur Paving and Construction, a CRH company, is seeking a Skilled Equipment Operator for our Greensboro, NC site. The role focuses on operating paving and construction equipment, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with crews to deliver materials efficiently.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of related experience (3 years preferred), and the ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and perform routine maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience or training; 3 years road construction experience preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of paving and construction equipment.
• Maintain and inspect equipment; report malfunctions.
• Coordinate with trucks for material flow and delivery.
• Set up and tear down equipment and perform minor maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE per OSHA/MSHA.
