Job summary

A valid driver’s license is required, and some travel may be needed. The role emphasizes safety, daily equipment inspection, and routine maintenance to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• No Degree Required. 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Excavates materials to dimensions as specified by construction drawings, sketches, grade markers, and verbal instructions.
• Manages stockpiles.
• Performs backfilling and grading operations to specified grades for landscaping, haul roads, and other purposes.
• Loads trucks with excavated soils or building materials such as stone, aggregate, or asphalt.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Inspects, greases, fuels, and cleans heavy equipment daily.
• Performs other maintenance per schedule.
