Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road seeks a skilled construction mechanic to join a dedicated concrete paving crew on a full-time basis. You will assemble, set up, maintain, diagnose, test, and install equipment across projects, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience; familiarity with slipform pavers and cure/texture machines is a plus. Fluency in English is required; you must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Experience with slipform pavers, concrete placing, cure/texture machines is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assembles, sets up, adjusts, maintains and repairs all types of construction equipment
• Inspects and diagnoses machinery to determine need for repairs
• Tests and installs new or repaired units back into equipment
• Performs minor tune ups to ensure safe operation
• Understand system controls, operation, and configurations
