Job summary

Schloegel Design Remodel in Kansas City is seeking a Handyman Technician with pride in delivering complete projects. You’ll perform hands-on work across framing, trim, drywall, tile, and light plumbing/electrical, taking ownership from start to finish.

You’ll collaborate with the Production Manager to keep schedules, communicate with clients, and maintain a clean, organized job site while building high-quality results on award-winning renovations.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in residential remodeling.
Versatility as a "Swiss Army Knife" of trades including rough and finish carpentry.
Strong communication with clients and teammates at a construction site.
Ownership mindset: organized, self-motivated, and committed to doing it right the first time.

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on work across framing, trim carpentry, drywall, tile, and light plumbing/electrical.
Take ownership of project progress and ensure quality at every stage.
Collaborate with Production Manager to keep schedules on track.
Communicate with clients and your team to keep projects running smoothly.
