Job summary

Mindscope in West Bend, WI is seeking a Hand Welder & Metal Finisher for our 1st shift to support custom metal stamping projects. You will weld, finish, and polish components, ensuring precision and quality on laser-cut parts, fixtures, and prototypes.

This is a direct-hire role offering steady hours, overtime opportunities, and a benefits package including health/dental/vision coverage and a 401(k). Ideal candidates have welding experience or strong mechanical aptitude and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Welding and finishing background with hand welding, grinding, or shop fabrication preferred.
• Proven daily attendance, punctuality, and commitment to safety and quality.
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn fabrication techniques.
• Must reside within a 45-minute driving radius of West Bend, WI.
• Authorized to work in the United States in a 100% on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Hand weld, join components, and finish welds on custom stampings and fixtures.
• Use grinders, sanders, deburring tools to surface finish welds.
• Inspect weld quality to ISO and customer specs.
• Set up and maintain welding fixtures and 5S cleanliness.
• Support production goals with overtime during peak demand.
