Qualifications

• Two years of experience operating a Loader on road construction, quarry, or asphalt plant.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks (walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel).
• Knowledge of basic measurements and reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading.
• Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance, refer major problems to supervisor.
• Keep time and material records.
• Understand and apply basic mathematical skills.
