Job summary

Sysco Gulf Coast, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator, Let Down, for a full-time role at our Gulf Coast facility. You will operate electric forklifts, move pallets, stock merchandise, and help maintain clean, safe warehouse areas.

The position requires a minimum 18 years of age, a HS diploma or GED (or 6 months warehouse experience), and the ability to work night shifts. Prior stand-up forklift experience is preferred. Sysco is an Equal Opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with HS diploma or GED, or 6 months related warehouse experience or training.
• 6 months of warehouse distribution experience.
• Ability to work nights.

Responsibilities

• Operates electric forklift in cooler, freezer, and dry spaces.
• Unloads/loads pallets using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Stocks and removes pallets from rack locations.
• Puts product in overflow locations.
• Maintains a clean work environment and assists with end-of-shift duties.
