Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years fabrication environment experience.
• 3+ years MIG/Light Gauge TIG welding experience.
• Able to read tape measure and calipers.
• Able to read CAD drawings.
• Familiar with metal shop equipment (table saws, mitter saws, drill presses, rolling equipment, mill, lathe, metal shears).
• Electrical and soldering knowledge is a plus.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds; follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel and aluminum using MIG/TIG.
• Operate fabrication and machine shop equipment.
• Measure workpiece dimensions for accuracy.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from workpiece.
• Assemble work pieces to job specs.
• Operate necessary equipment to perform job.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
