Job summary

The Excavator Operator role at Hubbard Construction Company is performed on-site and involves operating an excavator near equipment and the public in a safe manner, while performing daily fluid level checks and pre‑operation inspections to prevent leaks or damage. You will also be responsible for routine maintenance and reporting issues to supervision.

We seek candidates with 3–5 years of experience in roads/highways/bridge work, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to follow directions

Qualifications

• Three to five years or more of industry related experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Able to understand work directions and communicate with supervisors and fellow employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate an excavator near equipment and the public safely.
• Perform daily fluid level checks and inspect for leaks or damage before operation.
• Maintain and notify supervisor of any equipment repairs needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
