Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an Equipment Operator to support site preparation and material handling on a Dallas project. You will operate light- to medium-duty equipment, perform pre‑op checks, and assist with material movement under supervisor guidance.

You will work closely with crew members to maintain safety, log daily usage, and adjust operations for site conditions. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 2–4 years in equipment operations or related fields, and OSHA 10

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; construction experience preferred.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire required.
• 2–4 years of general equipment operations or related field experience; apprenticeship completed.

Responsibilities

• Operate light- to medium-duty construction equipment to support daily site activities.
• Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials on site.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or incidents promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
