Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a skilled equipment operator to support site preparation and material movement across projects in Denver, CO. You will operate a variety of light- to medium-duty equipment, perform pre-operation checks, load and transport materials, and help maintain safe work zones under established guidelines.

You will collaborate with crew members to adapt to changing conditions, document equipment use and issues, and adhere to safety protocols to ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of general equipment operations experience or apprenticeship completed.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 10 must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Equipment Operator Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of light- to medium-duty construction equipment to support daily site activities.
• Performs pre-operation checks and maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Assists with loading, unloading, and transporting materials around the job site.
• Observes general site safety protocols and reports hazards, malfunctions or incidents.
• Keeps accurate daily logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Adapts equipment operation to site conditions and project changes.
