Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled tradesperson to plan, lay out and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts for concrete structures on site. You will read plans, set up built forms, and pour/finish concrete according to specifications.

Responsibilities include measuring and assembling formwork, ensuring precise dimensions, maintaining safety, and inspecting work to meet contract requirements. The role requires standing and moving on-site in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and prior field experience.
• Strong working knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to follow and transmit written/oral instructions and communicate with supervision.
• Proficient in safe and efficient use of electrical, hand and power tools, layout and measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prints, drawings, and specifications; visualize objects in 3D from plans.
• Construct, erect, install and repair structures, scaffolding, and framework with tools.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts per specs.
• Erect built-in-place or prefabricated forms; insert spreaders and tie-rods to maintain dimensions.
• Pour concrete into forms and finish surfaces per plans and specs.
• Estimate sizes, quantities, time, costs and resources for tasks.
• Inspect workers' output for compliance and address deficiencies.
