Job summary

TIC_Craft in Forsyth, GA is seeking an experienced craftsman to plan, lay out and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts for concrete structures in accordance with plans and codes. This intermediate level role requires practical carpentry and construction skills.

You will read prints, erect scaffolding, measure, cut and assemble forms, pour concrete and finish surfaces while adhering to safety rules and project specifications. Outdoor work, heights and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with previous field experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate with supervision.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prints, drawings, and specifications; visualize objects in 3D.
• Constructs, erects, installs and repairs structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts; construct and erect built-in-place or prefabricated wooden forms, according to specifications for molding concrete structures
• Erect built-in-place forms or assemble and install prefabricated forms; Insert spreader and tie-rods between opposite pieces to maintain specific dimensions; brace forms in place using nails, bolts, anchor rods, steel cables, planks and timber
• Pour concrete into finished forms, finish concrete surfaces to specifications and install all other items in accordance with the applicable plans and specifications
