Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Rayville, LA, is seeking a Concrete Carpenter Journeyman for industrial construction tasks at power plants and large facilities. You will read prints, lay out forms, install rebar, and pour and finish concrete to spec.

You must have proven experience in concrete carpentry in industrial settings, operate hand and power tools, and work in varied outdoor conditions with safety as priority. This role may require overtime, ladders, and full use of required tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Concrete Carpenter Journeyman in a Power Plant / Industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specifications.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specifications.
• Constructs, erects, installs and repairs structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts; construct forms.
• Erect built-in-place forms or assemble and install prefabricated forms; insert spacers and ties to maintain dimensions.
• Pour concrete into finished forms and finish surfaces to specifications.
