Job summary

Lincotek Group is seeking an experienced machinist to operate CNC mills/lathes and machine surfaces of metallic and nonmetallic parts. The role requires blueprint interpretation, basic G-code adjustments, and precise measurement with micrometers and calipers.

Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent, or at least one year of related experience, and be able to document inspection requirements and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or at least one-year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, routers and inspections procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and G/M code programming.
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and basic measuring skills.

Responsibilities

• Loads material in machine and starts machine, observing cutting operation.
• Finishes setup with minimal supervision and makes offsets independently.
• Sets up and replaces tools without supervision.
• Monitors tooling usage for cost effectiveness and monitors quality.
• Authorized to stop processes to ensure quality.
• Produces accurate parts and documents inspection requirements.
