Job summary

Biery Cheese Co. is seeking a Skilled Packaging Technician to operate cheese production line equipment, track orders, and ensure quality and safety protocols are followed. The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to perform sanitation duties when needed.

Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with pay rates around $21–$21.25 per hour, plus shift differentials. OT may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all line equipment to meet production targets.
• Track quantities, input lot numbers, and start/stop work orders accurately.
• Monitor quality and perform root-cause analysis on defects.
• Record tracking information from bulk cheese containers to reports.
• Assist in SQF program and food safety compliance.
• Fill in for other personnel as production needs arise.
