Job summary

Warfel Construction Company in Winchester, VA is seeking a skilled Construction Carpenter to join our team. This role reports to the jobsite Foreman or Superintendent and emphasizes safety and quality workmanship on residential/commercial sites.

You will perform framing, install windows/doors, trim and hardware, and support scaffolding, ladders, and jobsite cleaning. Overtime and Saturday work may be required, with reliable transportation essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or trade training required.
• Able to read prints, sketches, blueprints and perform layout.
• Completion of Carpentry Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Fit and install window frames, doors, trim and hardware.
• Install metal items and handrails, lintels and related pieces.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for elevated work.
• Use hand tools; framing, blocking, cabinets, trim installation.
• Demo, sawing, dismantling forms, and insulation work.
• Assist other carpenters and Warfel staff as needed.
• Operate hand/power tools and company vehicles when required.
• Provide basic tools for the job as discussed in interviews.
