Garney Construction is seeking an experienced Carpenter in Saint Joseph, MO to build, erect, install, and repair structures using wood, steel, plywood, and concrete. The role emphasizes precision, safety, and efficiency on site.

Responsibilities include verifying trueness of structures, constructing forms for concrete, tying reinforcing steel, and operating varied hand and power tools. Willingness to work overtime and maintain safe practices are required.

Qualifications

• Firm knowledge of carpenter structures, forms, and tools.
• Must be willing to complete "Fall Protection Certification" and OSHA 10 (provided by Garney).
• Must be willing to work overtime
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Verifying the trueness of structures using a plumb bob, lasers, carpenter level, squares, and transits before concrete placements.
• Constructing forms and chutes for concrete placement.
• Assembling and tying reinforcing steel.
• Operating hand tools and power tools, such as saws, drills, roto hammers, grinders, etc.
