Garney Construction is seeking a skilled Carpenter to build, erect, install, and repair structures using wood, steel, plywood, and concrete. You will verify trueness of structures with a range of tools and maintain high safety standards on the jobsite.

Key tasks include forming, reinforcing steel assembly, and operating common carpentry power tools. The ideal candidate embraces quality, efficiency, and adherence to Garney's safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Firm knowledge of carpenter structures, forms, and tools.
• Willing to complete Fall Protection Certification and OSHA 10 (provided by Garney).
• Willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Verifying trueness of structures using plumb bobs, lasers, levels, squares, and transits before concrete placements.
• Constructing forms and chutes for concrete placement.
• Assembling and tying reinforcing steel.
• Operating hand tools and power tools (saws, drills, roto hammers, grinders, etc.).
