JSM Living is seeking a reliable Carpenter to join our team. We manage residential apartments and commercial properties, ensuring safety, functionality, and well‑maintained buildings for residents and tenants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant carpentry or construction experience
• Valid driver’s license required
• Fundamental knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and techniques
• Comfortable with electronic work order systems and maintenance software
• Able to work at heights and use ladders 6 feet or more
• SkyTrak/Lull certification desired but not required
• Occasional overtime and on-call rotation
• Starting hourly rate range $25-$32 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry-related repairs and maintenance work, including surface repairs, framing, trim work, drywall repairs, door and hardware installation, and other general carpentry tasks
• Prepare job sites, materials, and tools for daily carpentry projects and repairs
• Complete daily work orders accurately, efficiently, and with attention to detail
• Operate, maintain, and clean various power and manual carpentry tools and equipment
• Maintain electronic records by accurately documenting project-related time, labor, and materials
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and other departments to complete projects efficiently and professionally
• Participate in the on-call maintenance rotation as assigned
• Provide support during peak workload periods, which may require overtime
