The ideal candidate has a two-year carpentry program or apprenticeship, strong safety awareness, and the ability to read basic plans. This full-time, hourly position includes substantial benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year carpentry program through a trade school and/or accredited carpenter's apprenticeship program desired.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and specs preferred.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools to perform carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting and shaping wood and related materials.
• Build and position forms for concrete; dismantle forms after use.
• Perform rough and finish carpentry including framing, trim and furniture.
• Maintain site safety and proper reporting of incidents.
• Assist other craft workers as needed.
