Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
• Control traffic near work zones.
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations and level earth to grade specs.
• Handle and store materials and equipment.
• Load, unload and distribute building materials and tools per project plans.
• Ensure safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
• Perform manual work in preparing areas for construction.
• Perform strenuous manual labor on construction projects.
