Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and measurements.
• Proficiency with common carpentry tools and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints or plans for material requirements and dimensions.
• Select lumber and materials as specified.
• Prepare layout and mark cut lines on materials.
• Shape materials to specified measurements and assemble components.
• Verify trueness of structures with plumb bob and level.
• Erect frameworks, install subfloors, doors, trim, and finishes.
• Assist with forming and grinding surfaces and laying floors.
