Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Carpenter to join our Operations team on a full-time project in Culpepper, VA. This position involves constructing and maintaining safety handrails and protective devices, plus sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, and drilling under supervision.

Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of construction experience, the ability to read basic drawings, and OSHA 10/fall protection training.

Qualifications

• 5 years of construction experience.
• Must be able to read basic drawings.
• Training on construction safety protocols (OSHA 10, fall protection).
• Must be agile/mobile and able to stand/walk for long periods.
• Physically capable of lifting 50–100 lbs and working on uneven surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain safety handrails and hole protection, steps and ladders, temporary weather enclosures and protection.
• Perform sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, drilling and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Experience with concrete is a plus.
