Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Carpenter to join our Operations team on a project in Sterling, VA. This is a full-time position focused on carpentry tasks and safety compliance.

You will construct and maintain handrails and protection, perform sawing, drilling, and related duties under supervision. Experience with concrete is a huge plus. The role requires physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 5 years of construction experience required.
• Must be able to read basic drawings.
• Training on construction safety protocols (e.g. OSHA 10).
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods and lift 50–100 lbs. 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Constructing and maintaining safety handrails and hole protection, steps and gang ladders, temporary weather enclosures and protection.
• Sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, drilling, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Experience with concrete is a huge plus.
