Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our Operations team on a Culpepper, VA project. This full-time role supports field supervision and emphasizes safety, quality, and productive teamwork on site.

Candidates should have 5 years of construction experience, the ability to read drawings, and OSHA 10 validation. Physical stamina for long shifts and lifting 50–100 lbs is required; overtime and weekend work may be needed.

Qualifications

• 5 years of construction experience.
• Must be able to read basic drawings.
• OSHA 10, fall protection, and MEWP training (boom/scissor) are required.
• Demonstrate ownership of tasks, professionalism, and problem solving.
• Ability to stand, walk long periods, and lift 50–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain safety handrails, hole protection, steps and ladders, and temporary weather enclosures.
• Perform sawing, stripping, nailing, measuring, drilling, and other supervisor-assigned tasks.
• Concrete experience is a HUGE plus.
