Job summary

Roers in Minot, North Dakota is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our on-site construction team. You will accurately read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and assemble cabinets, doors, and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools.

You will also help erect scaffolding and ensure safety and quality across projects. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least two years of carpentry experience, with program training preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year carpentry or construction program preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of on-the-job carpentry experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Shape or cut materials using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Study blueprints to prepare layout and determine material needs.
• Assemble and fasten materials to form frameworks or props.
• Build or repair cabinets, doors, and other wooden fixtures.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders as needed.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows and flooring.
• Finish wood surfaces and inspect for damage or defects.
• Perform minor plumbing, welding, and concrete mixing tasks.
