Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Carpenter Helper.
• Successful completion of vocational school or technical college or apprenticeship is preferred.
• Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements.
• Cut or saw boards to required size.
• Remove damaged or defective parts from structures.
• Accurate setting of wood and steel concrete forms.
• Measure materials or distances for work layout.
• Review blueprints to determine work requirements.

Skills

Ability to understand directions and read blueprints
