Job summary

Advanced Containment Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our manufacturing team. Work includes assembly, framing, trim work and door assembly under the direction of the supervisor, using drawings to build to specification.

You will maintain safety, quality, and productivity, operate hand tools, read English instructions, and cross-train across departments in a fast-paced environment. Physical tasks require lifting up to 50 lbs and standing long hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Read and understand English sufficiently.
• Ability to operate hand tools including drills, grinders, heat guns and rivet guns.
• Ability to cross train across multiple departments.
• High level of attentiveness and physical coordination for safe, productive work.

Responsibilities

• Builds product to design specification utilizing drawings.
• Verifies conformance of finished goods.
• Ensures quality in every task performed.
• Plays key role in department metrics including safety, cost, quality and delivery.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Adheres to all company general and safety policies.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
