You will read blueprints, take precise measurements, and work with clients and partners to deliver quality results. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years carpentry experience, basic math skills, and proficiency with common tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of carpentry experience preferred.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides repair services as outlined by scope documentation or work orders.
• Installs wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work.
• Designs and installs cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation.
• Adds fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures.
• Reads blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals.
• Takes measurements and calculates the size and amount of material needed; cuts, shapes and smooths lumber.
• Maintains tools and equipment; communicates with Project Manager.
