ReModern Builders is seeking an experienced Skilled Carpenter to join our award-winning residential construction team.
This position focuses on high-end home renovations, additions, custom remodeling projects, framing, finish carpentry, and millwork installation throughout the Greater Boston area.

The Position
We are looking for a dependable, experienced carpenter who is comfortable contributing across multiple phases of residential construction.
The right candidate will be able to work independently when needed, collaborate effectively with project managers and subcontractors, and help keep projects safe, organized, and moving forward.

Responsibilities
- Perform residential framing, finish carpentry, millwork installation, layout, and general carpentry work according to plans and specifications.
- Complete remodeling and renovation work on high-end residential projects, including additions and custom home improvements.
- Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to keep work progressing efficiently.
- Assist with project layout, material planning, takeoffs, and field-related change order information as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Receive and verify job-site deliveries.
- Coordinate the movement of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Organize and maintain company tools, equipment, shop materials, and job-site inventory.
- Pick up materials and orders from suppliers and retailers as required.
- Assist with general construction tasks and subcontractor support when needed.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on carpentry or residential construction experience.
- Experience with high-end remodeling, renovations, and additions strongly preferred.
- Strong framing and finish carpentry skills.
- Experience with millwork, trim, doors, cabinetry, or other detailed finish installations is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and work from construction plans and drawings.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, tools, and job-site practices.
- Ability to perform basic material takeoffs and measurements accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a project team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to transport tools, equipment, or materials as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Language
- English required.
- Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

Work Location
